    Canon R6 - batteries

    Hi,

I had the canon r6 on the canon free trial last week and was very impressed - so much I am just about to make a purchase. One question i do have is regarding the batteries. The R6 uses the new LP E6NH. I know the R6 can also use the older LP E6N - does anyone here know if the R6 maintains the H+ frame rate wit the older LP E6N?

I only ask as I still have a couple of the E6N from my 5D3 - If they still provide H+ frame rate I won't look to purchase nanother E6NH at the moment as at £114 they are a bit steep!!

    Thanks

The only thing I can say is I have the R5 plus Battery grip and I use Duracell Batteries without any problems.

Saw on a You Tube video that you only get the H+ speed with the new battery E6NH plus you get longer time compared to the old.

Yep £114 very steep price…. I bought my R6 from Wex and they gave me 30% off accessories if bought at the same time.

Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

thanks for the replies. I will try my existing batteries when the camera arrives.

I also bought my camera from WEX - I will go back and see if they will do a similar deal as you lunarbo.
