    90D Now defunct

My 90D is just over two years old, searching the WEX site for replacement batteries I noticed that none of their listed stock stated that it was suitable for the 90D. I emailed them and got a very helpful answer hat no accessories are listed for the 90D because it's discontinued!! When existing stocks are gone - they're gone.
So what are they replacing it with or what's currently available from Canon at around that £1200 mark. Nothing. The 850D is almost a downgrade with much lower resolution at £400 less or the 6D which is a full frame so none of the EF-S lenses are any good.
Canon snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.

You can also get OEM replacements, they tend not to hold their charge so long but are much much cheaper.

I saw a post from Peta Pixels with their ten predictions for 2022, one of which was no more DSLRs from Canon or Nikon, another was the end of the Canon M series. On the face of it and if correct, that would be an end to the more affordable crop sensor cameras from Canon.

I use two Duracell's in my R5, no problems whatsoever.
