    RF Nifty Fifty

    I’m hoping for a nice cheap lightweight 50mm f1.8.....am I the only one that’s thinking this is an obvious lens to make for the RF system....I’ve not seen anything to suggest its in Canon’s plans : {

    I expect that they’re concentrating on the high end lenses first ready for the more advanced version(s?) of the R series cameras, cheaper lenses will have to wait until they’ve completed the lense set they want.
    I got the 35mm RF with my EOS R and that’s a lovely lense.

      Yes, probably so.
      I suspect those in the market for the pro version R body will have some nice L lenses to use albeit adapted.
      I‘m really pleased with the R....suits me better than the 5D4 I had before...tempted with the 35macro..thanks!
