Using an extender with RF to EF mount adapter on R5

When using old EF lenses with an Extender on a R series camera I wonder whether it is best to use the old EF Extender or the RF Extender, ie:

Camera: RF to EF adapter: EF Extender: EF Lens

Or

Camera: RF Extender: RF to EF adapter: EF Lens

My guess is that it makes no difference, but I wonder whether there is advice or practical knowledge on this.

Bizarrely it leads to the possibility of using both! IE
Camera: RF Extender: RF to EF adapter: EF Extender: EF Lens

Any thoughts please?

Does the EF-RF adaptor physically fit on the front of the RF extender...I think the RF extender only works with the long prime telephotos?
