CanoScan 8400F incompatible with Windows 8 ??

Just bought a new laptop with Windows 8 installed (steep learning curve ahead !)
No problems installing my Canon iP4950 Printer, but appears no installation available
for my 8400F Scanner to run. Have spent some time scouring websites looking for an
answer for this but so far without success. Anyone aware of a fix for this ??

I'd go back to the Canon website and look and see if they've updated the drivers.

Try "Vuescan" from Hamrick they list your scanner as a supported device with their software application LINKY

They have a downloadable trial version to try before you buy.

Thanks chaps - think I'll invest in a new ''all-in-one'' - never was to keen on this scanner anyhow !
