    Hi Alex,
I don't have a Flicker account or anything like that, but uploaded it to Imgur.
Imgur also has size limitations but allowed me to upload at 1920 so I hope that suits!...

It was 1 degree C so didn't stay too long.
I like the result & was surprised to see the reflection of the stars...

Do you think this one is better?
  13. The town of Matamata where some of Lord of the Rings was filmed

The first pic is for the tourists & sits on the main street. It is a full sized building that sells trinkets & provides local information

    Re: Water themed

Thanks Farider .. I'm not sure it has a specific name as it's part of a very long coastline heading into Wakatane on the East Coast.

    Cheers!

    Hi Peter,
Thanks for that & I think you've seen more of NZ than me - I've only been to Dunedin in the South Island.

Besides, I see the pics of the Standing Stones of Callanish on your site & I'm...

    Water themed

The first photo was taken at the height of Summer.
Lots of room with almost no people which is usual away from the big cities.

    Re: Quaint rural Churches

    Hi lunarbo,
I'm in the middle of the North Island in the Bay of Plenty region. Think Taupo, Tokoroa, Rotorua way.
