    Re: Geo Tagging EOS R

Thanks Tom. From my limited testing so far I found the connection between camera and phone disconnected quite often although I may need to adjust settings on camera and/or phone ;)

    Re: Geo Tagging EOS R

Ah, thanks for that. Does it depend on the time on the camera being spot-on? Once added, is the GPS date read by Lightroom too?

    Re: EF R?

Not tried that yet but will be handy for stuff like airshows!

Only been out once with it properly but battery life was really poor - down to 58% after only 75 shots. But I did have it connected to...

    Re: EF R?

Just got mine too at the Birmingham Photo Show. I've set the lens ring to change iso.

As to the bar, I read someone suggest ""As for the touch bar, I would never in a million years set it to alter...

    Re: EOS R and RP

A friend has the EOS R and you connect the camera to your phone via Bluetooth so that as you take a shot the picture is also sent to your phone. We found it almost immediate; the only downside is...

    Re: Geo Tagging EOS R

Good to know it's nice & easy - we tried with a friends EOS R and appeared to work well. I do have the GP-E2 which does the job admirable & doesn't have to be on the hotshoe as far as I understand...

    Re: Comparison

Interesting! I have a 6DMKII & just got rid of my original 6d, an 80D & some older gear so looking for another FF body. Could get another 6DMKII, don't want a 5d MKIV as I prefer smaller size so...

Re: Firmware update 1.0.4 for EOS 6D mkii

Not sure if it was my 6D MKII but I've had it happen in the past I'm sure more than once. I look upon it that cameras are like computers - now and then something happens and they 'throw a wobbler'....

I think the difference is that with a mirrorless camera the sensor is always on so say you were out shooting for a day it could be 'on' for several hours?? I'll be interested to see more real world...

    Re: eosR pre orders

I've heard from at least two people who've used the RF24-105 that said IQ is fantastic, one even said it was as good as if not better than the EF24-70 F2.8L MKII. All the images I've seen from it...

Re: Should I upgrade to 6D MkII
