    DPP4 is pretty slow on my Dell inspiron 13 - i3 processor, 4GB Ram windows 10....if that helps as a benchmark....I'm looking at changing up to i5 or i7 and 16GB seems to be the benchmark for new.

    I think I remember that on the crucial website you can put in your model number and it will give you the options available.
    It did when I upgraded mine from 4Gb to 20Gb in 2011

    I'd try moving the Contrast slider all the way to the left. Highlights all the way to the left, Shadows to the right ...

    I assume you use the focussing rail to move the camera and thus its point of focus rather than keeping...
