Noise in tiff images at ISO 400.

I shot a series of photos in RAW (Camera EOS 5D4), ISO 400. When I converted these to TIFF on DPP 4, I got pronounced noise that DID not exist when viewing the RAW images on DPP4.
    Any explanation?

    Re: Just bought ...

This is correct Brian. I am not comparing the overall quallity of EF 100/f2.8 IS with any prime lens - extension ring combination; just noting a macro-related observation.

    Re: Just bought ...

Talking of the wonderful 100mm Macro I was surprised to find out that my EF 50mm/f1.4 combined with 12+20+36mm Kenko extension rings provide more macro power than the EF100mm does, even with these...

    Re: EOS 250D

It is a pity that we do not get any kind of feedback or comments from Canon on bonafide criticism, particularly as this forum's owner is sort of semi-officially supported by Canon UK. The purpose of...

Thanks for your response. I have not tried this yet. I checked the site you suggest; it takes careful reading to determine what contacts to cover, so, I plan to take some time for the job.

Thank you for your response, Nigel. It makes sense. Indeed, no spec lists or reviews refer to "Tiff support" any more.

Thanks Nigel. The filter has no thread on the outward part and I just noticed that it is very shallow. I guess I should buy another UV filter if I want to use the lens cap too.
