    Lens aberration correction on 77D

My 77D identifies when I have attached the Tamron 16-300mm zoom, so I presumed that lens aberration correction should be enabled; but the chromatic aberration looks awful! So Iím presuming I should...
  7. Re: Will the Canon EF 1.4x III Extender work on the 80D?

    Thanks.
  8. Re: Will the Canon EF 1.4x III Extender work on the 80D?

Many thanks for that. I will look it up.
Yes we I can see a trip to a camera shop coming soon.
  9. Re: Will the Canon EF 1.4x III Extender work on the 80D?

Thanks for your quick reply. I think he must have been muddling up the EF lenses with the EF-S lenses.
  10. Will the Canon EF 1.4x III Extender work on the 80D?

Iíve just treated myself to the Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 L IS II USM Lens, hoping to capture some birds that are as good as many I see posted here. Now Iím saving up for the EF 1.4x III Extender,...

    Re: Canon 72 ink

When local stores and 7dayshop stopped selling all of the Canon colours for my old Canon printer, I did a search and could buy them directly from Canon and it worked out cheaper because p&p was free!
  12. Re: Aperture numbers change if using a crop sensor?

Thanks for the replies. It’s funny how I accept what is said here, but not from Facebook!

    Re: Brent Goose in flight

A lovely image that I aspire to. I have the lens, we have the geese, I just need to shake off this cold!
  14. Aperture numbers change if using a crop sensor?

Someone on a Canon group on Facebook stated that on a crop sensor such as an 80D you multiplied not only the Focal Length by 1.6, but also multiplied the Aperture. He stated that this was because...
  15. Re: Flickr Free Account to be limited to 1000 photos

When I first started using Flickr, you could only show 500 images. They only showed the last 500. So I have paid for many years. I was mainly using it for family abroad and friends.
    I save every...
  16. Re: Candid wedding shots at my sonís wedding, which camera and body?

I ended up using the 77D with the 18-135mm lens and, and occasionally the flash.
The weather was against us. It rained, so all the images were taken inside the Temperate Glasshouse, and of course...
  17. Re: Candid wedding shots at my sonís wedding, which camera and body?

Very tempting. I am getting more into street photography since going on Nina’s B+W London day, but feel more brave with a zoom. Have definitely bookmarked that one though! Thanks.
  18. Re: Candid wedding shots at my sonís wedding, which camera and body?

Good idea. They are all within walking distance, so could leave some in the car or room. Just didn’t want to carry a huge handbag! Thanks.

    Re: Grandkids, Mono or Colour

Love both, but the faces are more dominant in the Mono, especially the eyes. In the colour versions the reds and yellow jump out at you.
  20. Candid wedding shots at my sonís wedding, which camera and body?

I am the mother of the groom. The ceremony will be in a Glass House/Conservatory in a park, then the reception and evening do will be in a small venue. Only about 40 guests. They have a professional...

Re: experimenting with live view mono jpegs

If you saved as Mono JPEG and Raw, you could rescue most in DPP, even colour. Not all of it would be possible in Photoshop or Lightroom.

Re: Two and a half going on 16!

A lovely natural image. Giving her room in front to move into, and nothing to distract from her.
  25. Re: Do I need the Sigma USB Dock for the 150-600mm C lens?

Oh, thanks for that. Might pluck up courage tomorrow now!
