Re: Wild or Captive, does it matter?

Real tricky one this - a large part of me is on the side of if it's a good well taken photo then that's the biggest part, if you can lose the cage / fence etc all the better - if it's a bird flying...

    Re: Kew in the heat

Cheers guys, doing them in LR I really wasn't sure, looking at either the 'metallic' print or acrylic to make the black really glossy! I know photo stacking is the preferred way - had a read up and...

    Re: Venom

Agree, think it's a real shame when such an effort is made to restore such an iconic plane and to ground it - just doesn't seem right :-(

    Re: BBMF Public Display Approval

    Hey Paul,

Daks over Duxford - my offering

75th anniversary of D-Day - 'Daks over Duxford' my first go at air stuff and it's trickier than it looks! If I am honest for the majority of the shot's I wish I had taken the 200-400 but I had the...

    Re: Raining - surly not

Hey Colin - when it 'really' chucks it down I like to ramp up the SS to catch the rain / splash - otherwise the shot just looks - dirty and grey - if you know what I mean ;-)

    Re: Vintage iron

Thank you Brian, I think they look a little ethereal because of the track, they have laid all new track and the new 'glue' gives everything a really shiny 'dry / wet' look if you know what I mean.
