Re: Canon EOS 5D MkIV User Review

I recently checked and discovered that I have now taken over 30,000 pictures with my two 5D Mk IVs. Do I still love them? YES. I wouldn't swap them for anything currently available from any...

    Re: Olivia with Owls

We were in woodland and it was overcast so the light level was awful. Olivia is from Russia and had not ever been to a bird of prey center. She is absolutely crazy about owls so had to have a go. She...

    Re: Skomer

Love the cloud. I see so many processed mono skies that I now prefer the more subtle tones of the original. Great picture whichever way you prefer it processed.

    Re: EOS 250D

I totally agree. The 250 would have been one of the cameras that I would have been recommending to my students. With this limitation I certainly won't. The flexibility to use both third party lights...

  11. Re: Which film camera did you like the best?

I would have to say the last one I used regularly was my favourite, EOS 3 but, that said, in their day I loved Minolta X700, Canon A1 and Pentax Spotmatic. In the studio it was my Mamiya RZ67.

    Re: Lightroom

I recently did a review of software for my camera club. I compared all the main software packages and I would suggest that you look at DXO Photolab 2. This is available as a single purchase but you...

    Re: Is this forum dying?

The problem is that it is a very few members that show pictures. You see the same few names over and over. What can we do to encourage more members to display their work. A recent forum challenge had...

    Is this forum dying?

Theoretically this is a site about photography but increasingly we are seeing less and less images on the site and more about equipment. While discussion of equipment is useful and the advice that...

    Thanks Colin
I knew that Tenisha was very creative so I had asked to do the mood board. We discussed her ideas and I selected some for us to try. I worked with her to put our spin on the ideas. It...

Be aware that within the IT industry there are cautionary tales about the mean failure rates of some SSDs. This is flash memory and therefore has a limited number of read write cycles. Make sure that...

    Re: Canon 72 ink

I buy my genuine Canon inks (PGI-72 for my Pro 10S) from Cartridgepeople.com. They do all the inks separately as well as the bulk buy sets and full sets. The only downside is that you will get loads...
