    Re: Kew in the heat

Those are lovely pics David, I like the black background. I have some metallic lustre photo paper and they would suit that very well

    Re: Likes and Thanks

I do the same thing, I wait a day or two before responding as a courtesy for the time taken to make the comment; I certainly wouldnít reply after each response and it certainly hadnít occurred to me...

    Re: Squabbling starlings

Thanks for looking and the comments everyone, appreciated.

I have now limited the fat balls to three a day as they are rapidly demolished between the actions of the sparrows and starlings!

    Squabbling starlings

Having a play with the EOS-R on action pics and the target was the starlings ferociously arguing over the remains of the fat balls in the garden. Set it on max frame rate so it only focuses on the...

Agree with you there John, its a while since I was at Coventry Cathedral but its a bulilding that I liked.

Good Pic, I can see the benefit of having the lines in the floor leading to the window...

    Balloon Artist

Saw this fellow at a fete recently making balloon figures, unusually he was on stilts so was towering over everyone. He looked quite distinctive in his outfit.

Great picture. I do not remember the last time I saw a thrush, must be over 20 years. So sad, would be nice to see and hear one again

Thank you, a definite improvement David. You never stop learning and one useful thing I've done is to tailor the display to show the RGB histogram so that any issues are more readily spotted.

    Re: Another of 34046 Braunton...

Thatís good John, I prefer it to your first pic. For me, the composition works better and it looks half a stop down on exposure giving a better balance and more detail in the sky.
