    Re: Vegas

Agree there Brian, the local laws on restrictions etc. I wouldn't mind hiring a car and heading out to the nearest desert. My research continues.

Ain't that the truth? There won't be any images of said lads on holiday lol.

What about good locations around Vegas? Desert areas? Abandoned locations?

I was on the SRB website after seeing their stall at the Edinburgh Photovision on Tuesday. They look a good option, once again, thank you all for the feedback :-)

    Re: ND10 Filters

Thank you for the feedback Gents, yes Nicko, apologies for the typo, I am also looking at 0.6 & 0.9 grad filters along with the ND10 and got a little carried away.

    Hi folks,
Can anyone recommend either a circular ND10 grad, a P-series or a variable circular Filter? I'm looking to try long exposures of seascapes, not wanting to spend a huge amount, but...

    Re: Dust inside my Lens

Hi Gents, thanks for your replies. Glasgow is the nearest to me. I'll look into a quote, in the meantime, I'll hope that it may move to the side of the lens out of the way.

    Re: Elterwater Surrounds

You captured this nicely. My wife and I stayed in Elterwater back in April for our Anniversary, and the landscape was very drab.

Re: Canon 7d price, to good to by true?

I bought my 7d with 18-135mm EF-S f/3.5, 50mm f/2, spare battery and 16Gb card for 1300 nearly two years ago from Digital Rev. My son has also bought lens from them and we've never had a problem....

Re: A few more Local shots..

Great series, number two stands out for me. Caught the sky at the right time and the silhouette of the Windmill is sharp and keeping some detail in the foreground :-)

    Re: Canon EOS 7D

It's my birthday this month and SWMBO let me get one as it was good deal from an overseas Retailer. I was told to just order it in case they took the deal off. And as usual, I did as I was told :-)

    Re: Shooting in RAW?

I shoot in RAW all the time. I get more control over my image and I don't lose any data from it as you do with a JPEG every time you open or try to change it.

If I won the lottery, I'd have to have a left handed camera built for me. Is that over-indulgence?
