    Canon 1D-X

    Anyone got any tips on how to make your own 1D-X? It looks like a fantastic camera but I doubt I will be able to afford to buy one!

    Can't help with the IDX ... but with the EF-S .... How to increase the performance of your Canon EF-S lens

        Still struggling here getting 40 exposures out of one cassette. That's what I call real progress.

              I know the EF-S lens thing is a laugh, and all that, but if you want a decent macro lens out of the 18-55, remove the front element. Supposed to be totally lifechanging.

                If you have an old plastic kit lenses lying around, something that you are not using for anything serious, you can give it a new life as a macro lens by


                Not for the faint hearted me thinks though.
