Re: Wide Angle for a 7D

To try and help with the subject of crop factor I did a quick post over here Full Frame & Crop cameras, a comparison between a 350D & a 1Ds MkIII I know the photo's not exciting, but it demonstrates the principle of the crop factor.

Couldn't find my 20D, in the process of moving so used a 350D instead.
Sorry I've not been around much. Sadly the ankle surgery and carpal tunnel surgery have both been unsuccessful, so have to wait and see what happens next. I hope to be shooting a lot more in the future!

I really loved ( still do!) the 10-22 on my 50D ( & previously 450D ) but if you want really wide on F/F, without going all "bendy fish-eye" I now use the Sigma 12-24 ( the 12mm end equates to less than 8mm on crop sensor .) At the 24mm end there is less barrel distortion than my 24-105mm Canon! - I love it.
