    Tabby Cat - Not!

Taken at London Zoo in early March, the beastie was making the most of a rare bit of warm(ish) sunshine. 5D + EF100-400mm @ 400mm hand-held.

The original colour image just seemed to demand being converted to black & white.

    Hi Keith

I like the conversion, what method did you use?

Basically I used PS CS4 and the plug-in Nik Silver Efex Pro. The plug-in allows you to choose the tonal response so as to mimic that of a wide range of BW films such as FP4, T-Max, Fuji Neopan, Ilford Delta etc etc. It also has many other features that I'm still trying to get to grips with!

I wish my tabby cat looked like that.
