    Having problems uploading files .

    Hi There
    Can someone please help!
I am on an iMac OS 10.6.8 with LR 4.1 current update.
I save the images into LR 4.1. then export from LR into a Desktop folder where I reduce image size to max 1000px long side @ 72 dpi. result an image around 487k.
I am using Photoshop to alter image size, I am using Adobe CS 4.
When I try to upload the images I can attach the image but once I push the upload button then nothing happens. The slider moves across to say the image has been copied but the image does not show itself in the Image Dialogue box.
    What am I doing wrong.

    Hi,

Most people find using a third party app like imageshack or Flickr is the easiest way. I use imageshack, upload your image to imageshack (max 5MB) then imageshack generates some codes, simply copy the 'forum code' and paste into your post

It works really well, and sizes your pic for the forum (I think you can choose 600 or 800 px wide)

    Hope ths helps

As Ian says you need to use an external host rather than upload direct from your computer
I use Photobucket - very easy and straightforward to use
