Continuous Ink Systems

Hi,

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the Marrutt/Lyson CIS, with particular regard to the 'quality' of print with the Lyson inks, and their use on the Pixma 9000 Pro 2 printer ?

I have used for the last 5 years a very similar system in my Pro9000 and it has been fantastic, the colours printed from mine are slightly more magenta than the original inks, which to be honest I dont mind, the quality is very good though. I suppose if you are doing exhibition prints this is not for you but for everyday printing and the odd portrait shoot they are perfect. Mine works out to be about £100 a year to run with this system.
My only problem i have is that i have to clean the cartridge more than usual now due to the ink drying out in the carrier. This never used to happen but it is getting very old now!
