Oh, I do like that. Possibly not the best constructive criticism of a photo. but what can I say. It draws me.Di ~ Trying to take "the" photograph.

We were discussing "dark" and not trying to fill the shadow with unnecessary detail and then up you pop with this little beauty to illustrate the point to perfection.
I love the shot. It is atmospheric, well seen and expertly captured. That is one to have large on the wall of a man cave.

Sorry for the late reply, I forgot I had posted here.
Manual
5 second exposure
f7
ISO 250
This was taken at a Night time photo shoot at the Mid Hants Railway in Hampshire. Their were large flood lights set up around the yard and for a small admission price you could enter between the hours of 8 and 10pm and photograph to your hearts content.
Their isn't anything complicated behind this photograph. I simply composed the shot, set my camera on a tripod and released the shutter using a remote so as to eliminated any chance of camera shake. The advantage to shooting with a tripod is that you can obviously use a lower ISO setting while the longer exposure allowed me to use a greater f-stop.
I hope this has helped answer any questions.
