Pixma Pro 9000 Mark I printing problems

my printer seems to producing worse and worse print.

I've tried about 10 deep cleans and quick cleans and all it seems to do is waste ink.

I've also tried bathing the print head in warm water to try and clean out any dust or dried out ink in the nozzles..... still no joy.

Now the question... do I buy a new print head for £100 in the hope it fixes the problem on a four year old printer or buy a brand new 9000 mark II/alternative?

    Thanks! :-)

Would you say this is likely to be fixed with a new print head?
