    Peregrine Falcon

It's taken me some time, but I have finally been able to photograph some wild Peregrines at close range. This is one of a pair that flew close overhead whilst out on the waters near a local nature reserve.

You must have been chuffed to get this one in the bag.

I'd have liked a little movement on the wingtips, but I had to keep the shutter speed up due to the lighting conditions.

                Stuart, Well taken and captured

It is just a little soft - some of that will be the 100-400 at the long end and wide open.

But not all, and will take a little more processing sharpening to improve it.

Nevertheless, a great spot and capture, and certainly not an everyday occurrence

                Nice one

The 100-400 seems consistantly soft at the mo!

Mine was wide open and long, but reasonable if pulled back to about 350mm fl and at f8
