    North Yorks Railway

    A day out from Pickering up the north yorks railway, started out good but ended up very wet. hear are 7 that i have converted to B & W. 1D Mk IV & 24-70 L, 70-200 F2.8L II

    I like them all Mark, the first is a bit soft to me but still a good catch, I like that they are all timeless as it were, there is one, No 6, with a couple of modern looking signs in the shot but thats being very picky, my favourite I think is the one with the driver leaning out of the Cab.

      thanks Paul for your comments, i know what you meen by the two signs in shot #6, i'll have a go at removing them.
      can i just say sorry for the size of the pic's, i've not resized them accordingly for some reason.

        What a really cracking set of pics. You must be chuffed. The driver doesn't seem to impressed with photographers, think I met his brother the other day.

                  These are all good, with sympathetic conversions to B&W.
                  No 2 for me, the real meatiness and raw power of the two engines is very impressive.

                          i like this comment, but i wouldn't use the word "sympathetic", more like sat for hours playing with sliders in lightroom, lol
