    A Misty Common

I couldn't stay indoors any longer, so I wandered over Strensall Common for an hour or so. It was fairly uninteresting and most shots went in the bin.

Like it a lot - look good on a wall, but a pano would have looked even better.

Thanks David. I'm still getting used to the lens and learning that f/4.0 needs a reasonable amount of light ... or a tripod.

Good moody shot, the three basic colours work well with one another.

Andy, that's very nice, these things often work better without strong light - I can also see at least 3 more good shots in the image by using the other end of your zoom range.

Thanks again. I'm going to post another shot which I wasn't that impressed with.

I really like it. It is very moody. The only downside is it reflects today's gloom! But seriously, I know what you mean - I was stir crazy, hence the Marlow pictures last night. Sometimes you just gotta get out!!!

I like it too ..... And I know what you mean about just having to get out! I took the dog for a wet and muddy walk earlier this very grey damp morning, fired off 150 shots of ... Well nothing really .... And have got two or three that I may work n before posting!

                Nice shot Andy.

I like how the mist is closing in. Worth the walk out me thinks.

I'm impressed that the reflections looks darker than the subject. Nice catch!
