    Random from today in Luxembourg

Following on from my earlier post

Here are some of the random shots I took earlier.

    1. Rotten apple:

and played with lots in PSE9! Don't ask me why but I really like this as is....

    4. Fluke!:

I never noticed the tree in the dew drop until I went to bing all the "out of focus/rubbish" I had been shooting, so this really is a fluke!

Happy to receive feedback. Thanks for looking and I told you they were random!!

    Well Paul,

Certainly Random, I will probably get shot down for this by others, but I think in the first pic, either the Focus point is in the wrong place or the apple is postioned wrongly in the frame, to me there is too much out of focus foreground.

I like the Greengrass shot but don't like the very green border, not too keen on the Bluegrass shot, but then I am just a Boring Old Fa*t.

I bet you will look at Raindrops differently from now on!!

All above is just my personal opinion, please feel free to ignore.

    Regards Paul

Paul, well done for trying out different techniques, photography is a real learning curve and it's worth trying different things to find out what works. I'm not much of a fan of the borders, the grey is OK, but I find the strong coloured borders a bit too much for my own taste. I hope you don't mind me passing that on?

        Andy / Paul

thanks for your comments and please feel free to continue to make them. This is very much a learning curve for me - both in the photography aspects and then the after shot processing. Discovering all kinds of things on PS E so trying them out. I had hoped to get peoples juices flowing and see what the comments would be. I am not overly keen on the coloured borders but the purple (ish) one on Bluegrass works for me as it seems to reflect the tiny droplets in the captured shot. See - I am even learning the lingo!

I could not really make Rotten Apple work too well as the crop could not have got much tighter - but again, open to feedback on that.

        Thanks for looking.

Certainly thinking about a macro lens though!

        Thanks
        Paul

On the apple shot, try taking a little of the bottom and a little off the right hand side to shift the apple in the frame and to remove some of the oof foliage in the foreground. Hope that makes sense.

PS feel free to ignore me.
