      Papa,

Can you try the same image uploaded via Flickr, it will be a good test.

Cheers Paul, it looks great on Flickr but where do you get the code on Flickr?

I was going to say it looked soft too, something I have found occasionally using photobucket. Now using flickr which seem much better.
where do you get the code on Flickr?
click on share and then Grab the HTML/BBCode, make sure bbcode is selected below and then just copy the code in the big box. I also select medium 800

                  Papa,

Could you put the two together to keep scrolling from one to the other, then you will really see the difference.

                  Regards Paul

                    Re: Male Great Spotted Woodpecker.

Thank you very much Paul and Stan for your help, much appreciated. I have checked both images Paul, side by side on two seperate IPads and Flickr has done a far better job than Photobucket, I have to say it has done my head in though sorting it out. It's good to get some help from you both. Thank you.

                    Papa.

A lovely picture of a beautiful bird, if only I could get the pair that come to my peanut feeders to stop off on a nice perch but the little beggars simply fly in grab the nuts and fly off again.

Get a length of old timber or find an old post, drill the two opposite sides with a 3/8 drill, place in close proximity to the feeders, the secret is to make the hole one inch deep so the small Tits can't reach the internal inserted Peanuts. Then sit and wait, you will get them I'm sure.

Thanks for the tip Papa, I now have 2 bridges to cross firstly finding a suitable post/perch (should not be too difficult) secondly convincing SWMBO that it is a good idea to plant this dead piece of wood in the garden
