    Siskin (?) and 'flighty' Robin

On our walk on the Mortimer Trail above Ludlow I captured these two little fellows. Not sure but think the ‘finchy’ like bird is a Siskin. The Robin hopped along a sunken lane in front of us but every time I got him in the viewfinder he moved I managed an acceptable static shot but was much more pleased with this one.

I'm struggling with the first one as it is so small in the frame and my work monitor doesn't help either but it could be a greenfinch or if it is a siskin, a male

Definitely Greenfinch - the Siskin has black on the head and wings, less so in the female.

I have no clue on what type of bird it is, but I do like how you captured the landing of the bird in the 2nd image.

Thanks all. We occasionally get greenfinches in the garden but from memory they all seem a darker green. But I will go with the consensus
