    These are very nice images. Lots of tonal contrast, I like the composition and very god use of the color splash.

      I like the colour popping as well, its there, but not totally in your face.

        Thanks for the comments, Tom & Dee.
        With the colour, I wanted to convey the idea of a little hope, even in the most desperate of situations. Not sure if that thought came across but glad you liked it anyway.

              Phil, I also prefer the 2nd over the 1st
              If you've never been to Thailand and go one day, please do buy the corn from the street vendors - its the best I have ever tasted and they deserve the business.
