    16-28mm Tokina test shots

Just bought this wide angle lens(Tokina SD16-28 FX, f2.8) for my up and coming trip to New York,Quite a big lens same size as Canons24-105 when zoomed out to 105 range,Very solid build quality,Internal focus so no change to size when zooming in and out,No thread for filters as the front element is curved similar to a fish eye Lens, Fixed lens hood.

Not the best weather to go out and about(raining again) but have to get some shots just to check it works OK.(after 10min had to give up, as the rain returned)
These are straight out of the Camera just sharpened,

    #1 Small break from the rain, 28mm, f9, 1/500sec, iso400

    #3 16mm f9,1/400sec, iso800

I'll do part two if and when the weather improves

rather like these, been looking at obtaining a wider angle lens to add to what I have - been umming and ahhing for a while over what to do. Good to see something that shows me what I can get and what it will do.

            Thanks to all,
The sharpness and colors looks fine so happy with that, just need to get out and shoot some big building and look at what distortion I'm going to get at 16mm.

Those images look very nice for being straight out of the camera.
