    Peeps

After the grandchildren departed, we started to put together their Easter Baskets. So as we putting them together, I saw the Jelly Bellies and Peeps and wondered what kind of image can you do with them.

Yes I have the color version, but everyone has seen peeps and jelly bellies in color. The goal was to do them as BW.

If you want to see more of the Peeps go to my blog.

To be honest Tom I think the colour version is going to work better

I like the black and white, but think I would like to see the jelly beans on their own, with out the peeps. I like the dof you've used on them. Gives a deep feel to the scene.

Is a peep a biscuit? looks vaguely marshmellow-ish?

Thanks for Stopping by Di. The Peeps are marshmallow. They turn 60 years old this year (as old as me).

            Here are the Jelly Bellies:

Tom for me there is more detail in the colour version of the shot you posted and that extra fine detail in the chicks is what makes it the better of the 2 images for me, I find, on my monitor, that the texture in the chicks is missing in the mono version
