Here are some trigger stands I made for my new 603s. I only have a flash stand for my new YN568EX, my other flashes don't have stands. So, rather than spending 20 or 30 quid on stands or adaptors, I thought I would make some!

Quite like them. The simple solution is often the best.Di ~ Trying to take "the" photograph.

Re: Home Made Flash Trigger Stands
Out of interest, is there any reason why you don't just use the flash stand that comes with the flash? I use that with my flash triggers, and it all sits together quite comfortably wherever I put it!
Good innovation though, sometimes just a simple solution is required!

Re: Home Made Flash Trigger Stands
I don't want to knock anyones ingenuity, but I bought a few of these for next to nothing. Took a couple of weeks to arrive from China, but I wasn't in a hurry.
When they did arrive, I compared them to my existing Canon ones and they could have come from the same mould. In one respect they were better than the Canon ones in that the copies had a metal tripod thread insert, rather than the plastic Canon one.

Re: Home Made Flash Trigger Stands
Hi Digiman.
Thanks for the update! I didn't realise that some flashes do not come with a stand... all the ones I have bought have stands!
In respect to the date yesterday, I'll just say... 'You have done well, young Digiman. The flash is strong in you!'
Cheers, Mikeflickr
