    With my little avatar as the front of Mayflower I should vote for that shot bur I also prefer number 1.
    Actually, this - 61306 - is a "fake" Mayflower, the original being 61379, shedded at 40B, near Immingham on Humberside, reflecting the fact that Mayflower the ship actually started its journey from Goxhill Haven close to Immingham.

      Il have attached my set up image which was taken to check my settings prior to the train arriving
      Thank you for doing this Peter. As you say, that's just how the bridge is. I might be tempted to tone the lighter bits down a touch so that all the viewers attention is concentrated on the boiler which is beautifully crisp and in focus.

        Thanks for commenting and the information Chris . I wish I had known that yesterday there was another photographer adjacent to me who was very very, into steam trains and full of knowledge but...I wonder if he knew it was a fake
