Canon Software & Windows 7 HELP!!!

After a PC crash have just upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit. On Canon Website I notice there is no software specific to Windows 7 - can I download latest software updates as applicable to Vista and use these instead. Also as there is no installed Canon software on PC now will I first have to install from CDs that came with my 500D?

I am running the 'off the CD' Canon software on Win7 64bit without an issue - yes you will have to re-install followed by the updaters

it appears it's only EOS Utility that is a problem on some older cameras
