    Exposure compensation

    If you set the camera to say +1 stop overexposure, how does that achieve the extra exposure when in AV mode.
    i.e. does it open up the aperture, slow the shutter speed or increase the sensor sensitivity?
    This is important when using higher ISO like 800 because noise starts to get significant above that.
    Can anyone help please....

    It will only slow the shutter speed down
