    Display problems with new forum format...

    I run W/XP SP3 & IE6...

    Yes I know I'm out of date, but I have so much stuff on my PC, and I am firmly of the school of 'if it aint broke - don't fix it' I upgrade ONLY when forced to do so, or when I absolutely need to do so...

    Anyhow; a couple of things that are broke for me;
    - date & time are no longer displayed on forum posts; so I can't see when a thread has been started or added to
    - thread headers no longer show whether or not i have posted within the thread! Sporadically, if I review a thread that I have posted on, and the back-off a little green arrow will display, but it's gone the next time I logon to the forum..
    - I can no longer embed URLs in a message because I can't find the weblink icon to add an embedded URL...
    - The smileys display as pixellated blocks
    - There doesn't seem to be any 'formatting' options available any longer on creation of messages

    I'll add to the post if I think of anything else...
    I actively encourage constructive comment & critique of any image I post!
    Feel free to edit & re-post as you see fit - but please - tell me what you have done to 'improve' the shot!

    This may be your cue to upgrade. Internet Explorer 6 gave website designers a major headache for many reasons and the latest version of our forum software is no exception. An upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 will solve most if not all of these issues.

      Hello Andrew;

      Respectfully, it's not my practice to upgrade to suit you!

      What I have worked perfectly well - until you upgraded, since when it's been one problem after another!

      I don't have these problems on any other forum!

        Well, it's up to you, but the makers of our forum software don't support Internet Explorer 6 any more - therefore, the solution is to ugrade to Internet Explorer 8.

          Better still go to Firefox so that you can keep IE6
