Latest Posts searches in Default Mobile Style (Android)

This is going to sound really odd, but I did think I was going around the twist for a while.
I browse the forum both on my Mac and on my Android mobile. In both cases I primarily look at latest posts, i.e. on my Mac I go to Quick Links > Todays Posts (misnamed, but that's a whole other thread) and on my mobile I go to the 3 dots > Latest Posts.
When doing this on the mobile I began to realise that a number of threads that I knew I had posted to sometimes only hours before, were not coming up in the search results. I've run a little test this morning, by pressing the relevant link at exactly the same time on both devices. First time around, two threads did not appear on my mobile that did on my Mac, and these (coincidentally or not) were the the only two active threads that I had contributed to at some point. I ran the searches again and one of them (Red Kites over Harewood) then appeared, but the other (Colin's ND Grad Filter - to which I was the last respondent) still didn't, and after several more attempts still doesn't. I can navigate to the General Photo Discussions forum and see that my post is there. So why doesn't it appear in my Latest Post list?

So after posting this (on my Mac) I went back to my mobile, cleared the browser, went back into the forum, clicked on Latest Posts, and this thread doesn't come up at all. Top of the results list is 'Faces from War on the Lines'. Bizarre.

I prefer to use the Tapatalk app on my Android, it's only a couple of quid but worth it.

Hmm just checked on my Samsung GS3 and get exactly same as PC.

Currently using Dolphin rather than the stock browser on Android.

OK, only me then. But the other oddity I get, and cannot believe this is just applicable to me because it is the same whether on the full and mobile site (logged in) on my Android mobile, running Safari (not logged in) on my iPad and running Safari (logged in) on my Mac, is that not all threads come up in Today's Posts. For example, if I go Quick Links > Today's Posts on any of those 3 platforms now I get a list which does not include the post in EOS Pub made at 1000 on 22 June, although I can navigate to this through the Forum structure. So is just EOS Pub specifically excluded from this search, or is this symptomatic of some underlying problem? Or is this just me too (noting it also happens to me when not logged in as me, if you see what I mean)?

I think there are a few anomalies on this site. I have similar issues to you Alex, where I will post using my laptop, and it doesn't show on my phone. Also, if I start a thread, and someone replies, it rarely shows up in the New Posts. I don't understand anything about the programming of forums etc, just seems a little odd to me.

I wasn't aware there were other ways to view forums on my android phone. Must look into Tapatalk etc.
