      They missed, "Forgetting the background" When you take a picture consider the back ground. Or have they?

          25. Spare memory and spare battery, always best to have too much than not enough

          26. Check your bag before leaving home.
          Camera - check
          Lenses - Check
          Flash - Check
          Memory cards - Check
          Spare Battery - Check
          Battery Charger (if away for several days) - Check
          Tripod - Check
          Filters - Check
          and so on ....

            Forgetting to turn IS off when using a tripod .... AS I DID THIS EVENING!

            I can't tell you how many times I've done that!!

              Always check every detail, right down to the smallest thing. I've just spent £20 for an LA-DC58B to add a teleconverter to my G12. It doesn't fit. It needs to be an LA-DC58K. Doh ! The devils in the detail.

                Having identical heads on both tripod and monopod allows you to leave the quick release plate permanently on your camera.
                That's what I do.
