    Web address bar

When I put "eos" into the address bar, I always get the old "www.eos-forums.com" come up as the first option - if I inadvertently select this (which is most times!) the sign in doesn't work.

I have tried to delete the "www.eos-forums.com" address from the drop down list - control delete removes it, but it is always back there next time. Anyone know how to remove it permanently?

    Cheers,

    Peter.

    Peter,

    Have you tried 'Delete History'?

Otherwise just put http://www.eos-magazine-forum.com into your Favorites (American spelling) and use that for access.

Hi Bob, yes I have deleted history, cookies and cache several times but the blighter always comes back! It's not a big issue really, just annoying!

I think it's sorted - I'm using Firefox, their helpful forum suggested checking that there wasn't a bookmark in place as this would override the deletion from the address bar. Discovered there was one in place I had obviously forgotten about - I deleted the bookmark, deleted the address bar entry - so far it has not reappeared!
