    Commercial slide scanning

A friend has a large collection of slides he would like to convert. He doesn't want to buy a scanner and do it himself but would like to have it done commercially. Are there any Companies that members can recommend from personal experience.

    Thank you

Photo scanning service from £0.09 per photo. We take your old photographs and slides and converts them to digital images on disc, USB or via electronic transfer.

I have heard of this business but have never used them.
Worth giving them a few to see how they come out?

Our club has a good scanner so we don't use an outside service ! I personally find it a fiddly job and have to work a lot on each picture afterwards.
However my scans have made successful A3 prints and dpi's afterwards though , so worth it for special pictures.
