    Mimi

Not been around for a while or even had the camera out for the last few months due to (over)work!

However the arrival of holidays and grandkids for Christmas usually gives a bit of extra motivation!

An impromptu portrait session, but I quite like this one.

Delightful Peter and clever use of fill-in flash.

              Love it!

Love also the title of the shot 'Mimi 017' - did it take you 16 shots to get the flash right, or do you just like 017 best of all?

Thanks everyone, she is very un-selfconscious and follows instructions well, so she makes the job much easier!

Robin, I sometimes think it is time for an upgrade then it produces something quite outstanding (for me!). Reckon it will do me for a bit longer!

I think that is a vagary of the Aperture/Mac filing system - it adds numbers according to the number of files in the folder. That aside, it is quite appropriate for her - she is definitely a bit 7 going on 17 at the moment! For the record, this was no 10 of 13 shots, I tried a few just with window light but it was a bit weak, so I resorted to a bit of fill bounced off the adjacent white wall. The result was a bit more luck than judgement
