    Canon 620

Today I was digitalizing some old film. I was using the Plustek 7400 film scanner. Here are some of the images that I scanned in. These images were taken with a Canon 620 wing kodak Gold Plus 400 ASA Film. They were taken around 1989 so I have no clue what lens I used or the focal length.

After scanning them, I brought them in LR, then over to Elements 12 where I used Dfine 2 to remove the noise, then into Silver Efex Pro 2.

Always been a Canon fan then Tom!? Nice shots of great memories.

Are you happy with the Plustek? I have been looking into getting a neg scanner, and wondered what you thought about yours/

            thanks,

              Thanks Ian, Peter & Garry.

Garry, I like my Plustek, however the Silverfast software had a leaning curve as you fine tune your scans. However once you figured it out, it does a vert good job scanning my negatives and slides.

I'm just trying to find out why the post is named canon 620? Piqued my curiosity because I'm a long time shooter with a great complement of equipment including an EOS620 with technical back E, EOS630 with technical back E and pair of 430EZ speedlites.

                  Re: Canon 620

I named it 620 because I took the images with the EOS620. As you said, it was a great camera.
