    Red Kites today

Poor light for photographing the Red Kites at Llanddeusant today.

Sadly, the Red Kite Cafe is now permanently closed but the feedings will continue, at least for this year.

Andy, what a cracking set! Each image has something to recommend it but my faves are #4 and #6. Looks like a great day out and a shame if somewhere offering such great access is struggling to survive.

All good, but No4 is a real belter, did you wait for the light to hit his underside as it's a well balanced exposure, darned difficult against a sky.

It wasn't luck that made you pick the right camera with the right lens combination, with ability to focus and track the bird along it's flight path, and press the shutter at the decisive moment. Nowt to do with luck young man

Why thank you, kind sir. What is it they say? After 10,000 attempts you should get it right? And I've taken at least that number of pictures of birds. As a bonus, here's a common Buzzard from yesterday.
