Some fairy lights we have hanging on a welsh dresser in the dining room. Converted to mono in LR4, with a slight adjustment to the split toning.

Garry, really love the composition of that image, and just the right amount of depth of field. Just a thought though; I know nothing about split toning, but could you warm the resultant colour up a bit? Comes over a bit 'cold-hearted' to me, if that makes sense.

Thanks Alex, I do know what you mean. Never touched the split toning myself before now. I'll try what you suggest and repost it,
              cheers,

As per Alex suggestion, this version as a bit warmer. What do you think? It is basically as it came out of the camera, with a slight temperature adjustment.

Garry, that works a lot better for me. But you've gotta try these things...

                        Some really impressive shots

I really liked the rose shot and thought about how I could do something different with a rose.

Well, romantic in the sense that these were in the Valentine's Day bouquet that I bought. Although the roses had gone over by now, the lilies only just opened, and I've only just had the chance to play with my new pressie, the 24-105 f/4L.
