    A few more from Sicily

More from what I thought an amazing island.
One of the temples in the "Valley of the Temples" at Agricento -

Approaching the old coastal town of Cefalu -

    The harbour at Cefalu -

Narrow street in the Norman hill-top town of Erice -

Oh, and the food is excellent - here's some spaghetti vongole about to be devoured -

    7D + 24-105L (Cefalu Harbour - Ixus).

    Cheers, Chris.
    Just chuggin' along.

Very nice Chris, and an engaging variety .

You need to keep an eye on your verticals/horizons in first three, they are all slightly out.

Lovely set except for the sea food, not a fish eater

Or are they just old buildings that have settled

Great set Chris. Looks a lovely place with a LOT of history.

          Well Done,

Like how you have the people in the arch way. Gives a sense of scale. Also like the street one with the cobbles. Have you tried black and white with thiss one?

They are nice images, but I have to agree.

                Thanks for the comments, all.
Agree that the horizon in shot 2 has a degree or so of list, but do remember that Sicily ptoduces some fine wines.......
I think the verticals on the archway shot are spot on - try "rolling" the image to the side of your screen and both sides line up exactly, but, yes, I can see that it gives bit of a tilt to the sea. However, level sea and a tilted arch would look odd?
And the old temple..... Well, they were built before the days of spirit levels etc...... Or, being after lunch it may have been the wine again....
Will try the Erice shot in b and w.
                Cheers, Chris.

I particularly like the fourth shot. Never been to Sicily - looks good!
