    Astronomy and Astrophotography Book Recommendations?

Having just ordered a new telescope I am looking to read up a bit more on astronomy and astrophotography.
(See thread http://www.eos-magazine-forum.com/sh...ope-ordered%21 for my new toy!)

I am looking for something to get me started on the basics, and guide me as I start out.
I've had one recommendation already, any others would be welcomed.
    Andy

Hope it arrives in time to see the Lyrid meteor shower which should be visible from about now until the 25th but at their best on the 21st/22nd of April.

I believe there are some good apps for the iPad if you have one. I think NASA do one.

The '100 best astrophotography targets' by Rubens Kier is a superb book.
