    Bogota, Colombia

So, some of you may recall that I was heading down to Colombia for work. On my first day here I went to the Centro Storico, also known as Candelaria, and took a shed load of photographs, which I have filleted viciously, but there are still far too many to share here. So here is a couple of examples of the street vendors and also of the city:

Sunday afternoon in Candelaria, Bogota, Colombia by RCARCARCA, on Flickr

    EXIF: 5Diii, 24-105 @ 28mm, ISO 2000, 1/160 sec at f10.0

Sunday afternoon in Candelaria, Bogota, Colombia by RCARCARCA, on Flickr

EXIF: the same except 82mm and at 1/200 sec

Sunday afternoon in Candelaria, Bogota, Colombia by RCARCARCA, on Flickr

    EXIF: @58mm, ISO 1000, 1/640 sec

I found the light very tricky... Anyway, if you are interested there is a whole load more here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsjZVYz6U

    Thanks for looking

    Richard

There are pros and cons Paul! That said, I have to agree that I prefer to do it rather than not. Denver, Dubai, Malta and now Colombia this year so far ain't bad!!! Looking to get out of Bogota this weekend!

Stan - that was some of the best produce on sale that day! To us with expensive cameras and all that we have, the life choices that some of these people have to make are staggering. I think that is one thing that I do get out of travelling!

                          Thanks for looking

Good set of interesting images Richard - I was at a talk by Michael Freeman last Saturday and he is doing some work in Cartagena, Columbia - he showed similar scenes with lots of street art . Regards John
