    photoshop ...help

I've finally downloaded PS6 and using the trial version for now

I will be spending time next week checking out videos first from adobe TV, then Lynda.com, I do like Tim Grey and he's posted a few to watch, but I was wondering if anyone else has any favorite videos for getting started with PS

I will be using it with LR, hopefully assuming I get my head around working with layers plus all the other features it offers

YouTube will tell you everything you need to know Tigger
Some videos are better than others but whatever problem you come across just do a YT search and its sure to be covered
Its a steep learning curve but after a while it will come as 2nd nature

    Enjoy

If you mean CS6 (which is PS13) then I started with this book:
        Photoshop CS6: The Missing Manual
        By Lesa Snider
        Publisher: O'Reilly Media
Photoshop CS6 is truly amazing, but it can also be overwhelming if you’re just getting started. This book makes learning Photoshop a breeze by explaining things in a friendly, conversational … - Selection from Photoshop CS6: The Missing Manual [Book]

Which I thought was generally very good and would recommend.

If I managed to learn enough to process my pics on CS6 at 68 years young I,m sure you can do it,still get a odd problem but it's easy .pity your not in telephone range as I have guided a few peeps through the normal layering stuff a few times ,over the phone

Ask yourself what you want to do in photoshop because there's more than one way of doing it. None are worse than others but each way has it's reason depending on the image. Andy linked to Phlearn and it's likely one of the best channels. He's more a massive user of curves adjustments layers and layer masks. Fit's me style of editing, so the vids suit well. All depends what you want out of photoshop.

Cheers Andy - I can still see myself using LR a lot of basic editing but anything thats going to need some serious tweaking I'll pull into PS - I haven't started on Phlearn vids yet as I'm still on adobe tv ..
