Fox in snow covered field..

Using a hide I baited an area for several days with cat food to entice this beautifully conditioned male Fox into the open..

Superb shot Anthony.

Foxes look good in the winter with their full coat and what better way to highlight it than in the snow. No exposure compensation, so I presume you were shooting in manual to achieve the full range of neutral tones in the snow.

Cat food is a good bait, as I found that anything chunkier, they just used to dive in, grab the food and disappear with it. I also used to sprinkle raisons around, they loved them and it kept them in the area longer.

Thanks all...

Colin, I was shooting in AV mode, just checked the histogram and all seemed ok at 0. I could of gone up at bit more maybe but at F13 it looked ok....
