    August/September

We have not had a monthly theme for a couple of months now. Given that we are in the middle of the holiday season and then back into full frontal work-mode in September, why don't we have a theme of "Smile" - any variety!

    Any takers?

Here is one I took recently, and I have posted elsewhere in the forum, to kick it off:

Well you could not have got two more different images!!!

Great, both of them and spot on! The images brought a smile to my face and the juxtaposition made me laugh!

I have been tempted to go into the restaurant where this girl works, but it cannot be as nice inside as well:

                    Re: August/September

And here's one of me and friend taken by husband and briefly tweeked in PS by me.

                    We're both smiling!

Just wondering if you'd get rid of the black lines on the wall to the left or leave them in?

I haven't learned to do that yet in PS10!

Sorry, forgot to say that amongst some great photos I found myself returning to Richard's waitress....
                      ....
Apart from her stunning smile I love the contrast of the yellows with the purple and then the red bow in her hair

Yes, smiling indeed! I am not sure that I would take out the panel on the top left. Partly because I think it would be quite a job with the shadow and the size of it, and partly because I don't find it very distracting.

And thank you for your comments about my restaurant chica!

I think this qualifies as a smile; he wasn't grimacing...
