    Massachusetts has plenty of colonial history and many old buildings. Boston, Plymouth, Lexington all hold interest - if that is your bag.
    Tourist offices in the States are usually a good source of information, maps and directories

      'New England' is a massive area, and has most things people enjoy shooting... what are yor main interests, and are you limited to MA & RI? What about Maine, Vermont or New Hampshire?
      Cheers;

          You could always go to flickr / 500px and type "New England" into the search box and see what takes your fancy. This would also work with google images but the picture quality will be less good.
